I just bought ez drummer 2 and several midi packs and a couple sets.
*I don’t have any songs that keep the same temo through the song. I just started using Cubase 9 artist (after suffering with Adobe Audition for years)*
I saw a mod post this:
“EZdrummer 2 can’t have different tempos on its track (tempo maps), but you can set different tempos in you DAW and have Follow Host enabled in EZdrummer 2.”
And don’t really understand it….So, I’m just wondering what people’s workflow is of say, having an intro that is around 60bpm, a drum fill that builds up to verses that are say 120 bpm, then a part at the end of the song that has a 160 bpm part and fills.
Thanks a ton in advance!
Mike
I searched for this issue but didn’t find it. If it’s there already, please point me to it.
The problem: Until now bouncing the MIDI to audio worked fine, but now I have a song at 163 bpm, I imported the MIDI from that song, told SD3 to also include the tempo, and now when I bounce it goes back to 120 bpm. What am I missing…?
Thanks!
Edit: I tried to have SD not import the tempo from the MIDI, eventually unchecking “follow host” fixed it. For every track except 1 floor tom…
