Hey everyone, maybe it’s something I”m missing because I am having to currently use OCR due to my lack of vision, but I am having an issue with replacement pieces on some kits.
Here’s my situation exactly as it happens.
I select the Andy Sneed 2 Kit as my preset template.
I select Cymbal 1 to replace it.
WHen I select any cymbal from any other pack, including from SD3, the cymbal does not produce any sound.
WHat I was hoping to do was simply replace the cymbal on there since that cymbal is already mapped to a pad on my TD-50, however when replacing the cymbal, it just goes blank and no sound generates, even though the cymbal is loaded. This does not happen when I just first load SD3 then swap cymbals out from the default kit settings.
Additionally, maybe I’m missing something due to OCR not finding it, but isn’t there a simple way to midi learn a trigger? like in SD2? I can find the midi mapping section but it doesn’t seem to really bring anything up that OCR can find.
an accessible overlay for this product is being worked on, but it will be along while before it’s ready, so I am doing what I can for now. there’s no telling how long off it will be, could be several months.
