I have a basic “workflow” question. I have a Vdrums system with a TD-20 which I track to pro tools. When I open SD3, several of the instruments are wrong. I know I can change the midi mapping in SD3, but I’m curious in the easiest way to change all of the subtle mapping things as well for each instrument. What’s the best way to approaching remapping everything to match your ekit? is the mapping pulldown the best place? Should I change the mapping on the TD-20?
I had done a Midi remap on a kit in SD3 core, and then loaded a Kit in Metal Foundry, and the drums were differently triggered. I just want to set it up so SD3 always triggers the correct instrument. Thanks for the help…
