I would like to request a new EZ Drummer module that has a kit that has MUTED drums. You know, the ‘ol “Wallet on the snare” trick? All of the drum modules currently have drums that all ring out, and adjusting them with parameters is inconvenient and sounds VERY artificial.
I have seen acoustic bands cover drums with towels, for instance, and it makes them sound more like bongos. This is EXTREMELY creative and USEFUL!
Heavy music requires a tighter sound, and as a studio engineer, I have spent much time getting drums like this to sound better in a mix – a lot of the time by controlling the amount of ring the struck drum is giving.
I, for one,would definitely buy an entire separate module. Perhaps it could be everything from a small jazz kit, to a very large kit used for metal – because Metal in general benefits from tighter drums.
Anyway, I think you get it. PLEASE!!!
