SD3 and Reaper. Multi output tutorial?

Hey this is my first ever post so apologies if this kind of thing has been asked before. I haven’t found the thread.

Would like to start by saying that Superior drummer 3 is just amazing and after a long break of not making music this plug in is a joy to use and is inspiring me again.

So..

I seem to be having some trouble with the multi channel output for this plug in and would like to know if anyone’s knows of a good tutorial with the DAW Reaper in mind. I can’t find one that really addresses the track routing issues I’m experiencing and would like to know how to start again properly, as it were.

I’ve looked at a bunch of separate videos regarding the basics of track grouping and multi track functions in reaper but non of them seem to do it. Many of them almost work but then it causes something else to happen.

I’ve gone as far as remade my entire “new project” template in case there was an inconsistency there. But here I am haha.

I’ve added a screenshot of what im looking at. When I try to group the green tracks under the top one no audio comes out. When I select that track as the master send and folder group the other track under it, it kind of works… but then muting the master does nothing and the channels still play audio.
Thanks for taking the time to reply.
