Hi all,
I have just recently installed EZD2 and got it running in Reaper. I am using it with my Roland TD-9, connected to my laptop through the Roland UM ONE MK2 .
So far so good. In general everything works, even the triggering of the VH-11 is quite ok.
BUT…something is not quite right.
When just using the EZD2 FX the whole kit works. However I want to play to a MP3 backing track loaded into Reaper.
To reduce latency issues I am using ASIO4ALL and of course at the same time no Windows sounds or so are working. What I still have not quite figured out is why sometimes the MP3 playback works, whereas sometimes I do not hear a thing.
However WHEN it works and when I could theoretically play along to the backing track the one sound I hear from the TD-9 is the snare…all the others, toms and cymbal, are not “working” or they are so silent that they are impossible to hear.
Right now I don’t really understand what is gong on and wonder whether anybody has had similar behavior and maybe even a solution.
I think it is also worth mentioning that the strange behavior with the snare does not happen when using another FX like PowerDrumKit so somehow it must be related to EZD2 I would have though.
Thanks and cheers
Matthias
I have EZD1 and EZD2 installed. When I go to add a VST to a track, the kits from EZD2 and all the MIDI files and libraries are there but Reaper makes me use the “old” EZD1 interface. Is there a way to get the EZD2 interface in there? You know, the stand-alone app format? Does this even make sense to anyone? LOL!!
Hi,
If anyone is familiar with fl studios please help me.
I’m used to making full drum tracks using fl studios and trying to find how to export my pattern’s in midi.
I sort of figured it out but EVERY sound, ie. Bass drum, snare, hi hat exports as the same value as if each drum item is played on one drum.
Anyone know how to assign each sound to a drum on ezd2?
Thanks!
