I have added a new pad to my Alesis Crimson kit using the “Tom 4” input except that the the pad I have added is actually Tom 1 as I have made it the smallest and first tom on the Rack. All programmed fine in the Module but then when I go to EZD, and set the e-kit map to Alesis DM-10, it triggers as the the first floor tom which makes sense as it is “Tom 4”
I tried to find find where to “learn MIDI” but have since found that this is not a feature that EZD has which is disappointing. Is there a way that I can find what MIDI notes the EZD use so that I can at least change that not in the MIDI send function on the module.
I suppose I could just move each of the toms down an assignment on the module (eg connect tom 3 to tom4 connection, tom 2 to tom 3 connection etc) and in principal it should all work but in the event that I add additional drums and cymbals I would like to be able to edit or build custom map to assign all surfaces to an instrument in the EZD interface.
