I puchased the BopPad, Drum Pad Controller from Keith McMillen website. for some reason I can not seem to get it to work properly w/ Ez Drummer 2 . I can not run both together or change any parameters within the BopPad while running Ez Drummer 2 . The response from Keith McMillen Instruments is that there is a Windows Class-Compliant Device limitation where some versions of Windows do not allow a class-compliant MIDI device to be connected to more than a single application at a time. The result of this is that if you have two or more audio/MIDI applications open at the same time (the BopPad editor and Ableton Live, for example)which i’ m using Reaper, only one of them will be able to connect to the BopPad. Because of this it is highly recommended that you quit your DAW before opening the device editor and then quit the editor before reopening your DAW. I have no Idea what this begins to mean. Would love ant suggestions or help. Do I scrap this device and move to something different. I would also like to know some suggestions on diffenert Drum pads on small midi keyboard controllers. Thank you for your time.
Best,
Matthew
