Hi,

in the MIDI Transport view (check View Menu>Transport if it isn’t visible), there’s an icon that looks like two arrows joining into one; click this to Merge MIDI recording passes, otherwise each pass overwrites the previous.
There’s some kind of oddity with the Merge MIDI not working if you have Loop Recording enabled IIRC but just enable Loop Play, select an area and hit Record and it will loop record your MIDI.
