Here is the solution after working this out from the guys at Obedia:
If you tried to install EZ drummer from a disc and your running Snow Leopard as I am, this is your problem. You must uninstall the EZ drummer you have just installed. You can do that by either finding the EZ drummer uninstall or going to the TOONTRACK® Website. Go to your account. Select EZ drummer. Then from the download menu, the Red MAC button, select download. After the download is complete you will have the option to use the uninstall at that point. Make sure you select all of the files and uninstall everything from EZ drummer. Now that it is cleared out, use the install icon and install EZ drummer from what you just downloaded off the TOONTRACK® website. Once that is complete, you will be prompted to activate, simply copy the current activation number from your account and your up and running.
The key here is to make sure you have downloaded the TT106 version AFTER you have uninstalled the first version which came from the disc. If you try to install the TT106 downloaded from the Website on top of the version you installed from disc, you will not get a resolution as I tried this and the problem did not resolve until I deleted the installation which was originally on the hard drive from the disc.
I would strongly urge TOONTRACK® add this resolution on its FAQ for Service on the EZ Drummer FAQ. If I had read this, I could have solved the problem quicker and not had to go to Obedia for assistance.
