Please try the following:
1. Pause the Avatar download.
2. Click Show Details for the Avatar product, open the menu to the right of the download and select "Show in Explorer".
3. Open the folder "SL-Avatar_SDX.incomplete/Contents/SL-Avatar/Sounds" and delete the two files "soundb9.obw" and "soundb10.obw".
4. Resume the Avatar download and let it finish without interruptions. Can it be fully downloaded now?
there may be something wrong with your disk, perhaps some bad sector. If you have another disk with enough space, you could pause the downloads (those that should be moved), change download location to the other disk in Options in Product Manager and click 'Move Downloads'. When that is done, resume.
