Release notes for Superior Drummer 3.4.3

Superior Drummer 3.4.3 is now available to download using the Product Manager or from the ‘My Products’ area in your Toontrack account.
CHANGES
General
  • Percussion notes that were referred to as “Shake Hit Immediate” or “Future Hit Stack” are now called “Shake (Velocity Split)” instead.
Settings
  • A new Latency Mode setting has been added in the Performance tab. “Precise MIDI timing” is the default and recommended mode. “Lower latency” reduces the latency by 0.34 ms but may also cause MIDI-triggered sounds to be rendered slightly off time.
BUG FIXES
Sound Engine
  • During playback, MIDI notes would in some cases be rendered several samples too early or too late. That should never happen now, unless the new “Lower latency” mode is selected in Settings.
Song Track
  • Audio export at sample rates other than 44.1 kHz did not have accurate timing of the hits.
  • Exported audio is now up to 10 s longer to allow for sounds to ring out.
  • Dragging MIDI from EZdrummer 3 would cause a crash if any of the blocks had a custom (user-defined) song part type (a feature not supported by SD3).
Drums Tab
  • Loading a User Instrument on a currently ringing instrument could cause a crash.
  • The Velocity Curve property box would show all hits as being played at velocity 127 if the selected articulation had stacked sounds.
  • When “All Articulations” was selected, the Velocity Curve property box did not show any hits for other articulations than the main one.
  • Note Offs will no longer make unloaded articulations blink in the stack view when another part of that stack is played.
  • Trigger articulations now get highlighted in the articulation menu when played.
Mixer
  • The Bias parameter in the “Valve Distortion Box” effect was not correctly/deterministically applied when a preset/project with that effect was loaded.
MIDI Mapping Layout Window
  • On Windows, the Print function would in many cases not print the entire layout.
