First up, your looking at grooves not presets. Presets are the instruments and EQ settings. The greyed listings mean that the chosen groove doesn’t meet that description, I believe. I’ll check it in my morning.

    Hi,

adding to Mick’s post: when you select a Preset in the upper right corner, it sets the Drums and Mixer up. It does not populate the Song Track with grooves.

When you select the Infinity Grid EZX grooves in the Grooves browser, the Filter Column categories that have no corresponding type of grooves get greyed out.
I.e. you can’t select any Disco Count-Ins because there aren’t any in that main folder.

The screenshot of the YT shows the Mixer tab. Is that what you mean by ‘blocks section’? You find it by clicking where it says Mixer, between Grid Editor and Bandmate.

Yes, I  know the different tabs. What I meant about the YT video is how it got the present track on the Song Track below the mixer and above the transport controls.

    Thanks!

    Thanks for clarifying that.

Could you please walk me through the steps to get to play one of the presets from the stock ones that also include the full mix?

Just like the YT video screenshot shows.

    Cheers!

I’ve done that, but what I’m trying to do is to play the presets as they are on the product’s page including the full production.

Just as the YT video I attached demos.

The screenshot here shows the presets I’m referring to, so how do I play those on the EZdrummer.

    Thanks for your answers btw

Are you thinking that all of the instrumentation (bass, guitars, synths, et al) are included in the Infinity Grid EZX? That isn’t the case. The full production demos are “demonstrations” of what instrumentation is possible.

The included sound of the EZX are in the preset demos.

If I’m misunderstanding what you are asking, please clarify.

You will need to install and learn how to use a Digital Audio Workstation.

    Hi Scott,

What I meant is that the Toontrack Youtube promo demo video titled Infinity Grid – The Presets  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VsVdbh54wf4

show the plugin playiung a song, both in the whole production and presets only modes, if you check the video you’ll see what I mean. So, I was wondering if that song’s preset is included somewhere in order to be played on EZdrummer, just as you can play the grooves.

I am aware the presets are basically the drum kits for different sounds but I thought the drum patterns on the song recorded Jay Postones were also included.

The description below the video says:

‘The drums in this EZX were sampled by TesseracT drummer Jay Postones and the included presets were created by session engineer Steve Blackmon as well as by Acle Kahney (Tesseract) and the Toontrack sound design team.’

I hope that clarifies the point of my question.

Thanks Mick, but this has nothing to do with the DAW. I’ve been using DAW’s for over 20 years, mostly Cubase pro, and used EZdrummer all along.

My question is about whether the drum patterns for the song played on the promo video for Infinity Grid are available, not the grooves, or the different drumkits. I’m sorry for the confusion but I thought it was a simple straightforward question, I just find the promo a bit misleading if those patterns are not included that’s all.

The only patterns available are the grooves that come with Infinity Grid.

    Have tried Tap2Find?

Right OK. I’ve always wrote my own drum parts and never bothered much with the grooves, but I thought it would be interesting to see the drum parts for a song done by a drummer.
