Any benefit getting a MIDI pack without the associated library?

  Specifically, I’m thinking about getting the Beats of New Orleans pack, but I don’t have the New Orleans library (waiting for it be included in a sale). I do have the Big Band library, so some of the articulations will hopefully be covered, but it’s difficult to tell without being able to try. Can anyone help?
