I’m using the Big Band library and I’m finding that the ‘closed roll’ articulation on the snare is extremely quiet compared to the rest of the articulations and the rest of the set generally. Even at maximum velocity, it is not very noticeable. It seems to be the same on all kits within the library.
I appreciate that a closed roll is inherently going to be one of the quieter articulations, but it does seem altogether too quiet.
My current workaround is to increase the snare volume in the mixer, but that means tweaking all other snare articulations which is unnecessary work.
If other people agree, is this the sort of thing that could be tweaked in an update?
