Is it possible to save the custom order of kit pieces? In D&D, I have one additional tom (6 total), 2 hihats, 2 rides, 4 crashes, 4 chinas…and would like to have them grouped. It is possible to drag them and reorder them, but can you save this or do you have to order everything for every song/DAW project again?

It seems that it is not even saved with your DAW project. You have to reorder them every time you load a DAW project. 🙁

What do you mean re-order them? Are these extra drums top left?
SD3 with older sdx,s plus Rooms of Hansa and Death & Darkness. Cubase and wavelab current versions. Roland TD50x using all trigger inputs for triggering SD3 only. Windows 11 computer. Various keyboards and outboard gear as well as VST instruments. Acoustic drums: Yamaha 9000 natural wood and Pearl masters. Various snare drums. RME BabyFace Pro FS and Adam A7X monitors
The grid editor has kick, snare, toms, hihat etc…I have a sixth tom, a second ride and a second hihat and want to have the 6th tom (the highest one) on top ->
instrument 1 (=6th tom)
racktom 1
racktom 2
racktom 3
floortom 1
floortom 2
This way, I can create tom rolls more easily…same for hihat 2 under hihat 1 and ride 2 under ride 1…but when reordering the pieces and placing the 6th tom on top of racktom 1, this order is lost next time I load the DAW project.
