Hi, after you have clicked the ‘Export MIDI’ button you can drag all Tracks combined to the Song Track. Make sure the Playhead is located where you want the MIDI to start. You will be asked if you want to import the Tempo, which I assume you would want.Screenshot-2025-11-22-at-14.17.08

Once the MIDI is on the Song Track, you can use the internal Bounce to render audio files. This can be done either per Mixer Output, which includes EQ/Comp/etc or per Microphone, which is pre-Mixer.

There is currently no way to Export an audio file from the Tracker, which includes the original audio file(s) used for Tracking.

Thanks for the reply, but can I clarify a few things since the program is new to me:

    1. See bounce settings attached image – why with these settings is it exporting individual wav files instead of a single stereo mix? I have everything unchecked that mentions splitting.  Other threads on this topic make it sound like after exporting multiple tracks, it combines them into a stereo.

**Edit, I see if I check “bouce each output channel as a separate file” it will do a single export – the wording is confusing?

    2.  When you say “There is currently no way to Export an audio file from the Tracker, which includes the original audio file(s) used for Tracking.”  When I did the bouce above, it is pure midi sounds and none of my mix.  Are you saying the blended with original is never going to be exported from superior drums to a final wav track?

2a. Am I going to have to setup OBS studio and play the mix in the tracking tab while OBS studio grabs audio realtime to get my audio?

Is there a video tutorial showing the export process with a mix of mic audio with SD3 midi mixed in?  I feel like everything so far has been intuitive until hitting this point, and now I am realizing all the hours of videos I watch prepurchase never showed this process.   Seems like there should just be an export wav on the tracker tab that exports the whole mix.

    Hi there,

To the best of my knowledge, Tracker is designed to replace your original drums/audio with the kit pieces within the currently selected SDX and preset. When bouncing from SD3, the samples from SD3 would be the only audio being exported/bounced to audio.
Are you wanting to export SD3 samples blended with your original audio, or am I misinterpreting?

SD3 and tracker just uses the audio files to generate the midi. They are not part of the export. That is how it’s meant to be. The expected use is to either use just the midi if blend them within a DAW which is what I do. SD3 is not a DAW and doesn’t mix audio for you. It just renders the midi.

SD3 with older sdx,s plus Rooms of Hansa and Death & Darkness. Cubase and wavelab current versions. Roland TD50x using all trigger inputs for triggering SD3 only. Windows 11 computer. Various keyboards and outboard gear as well as VST instruments. Acoustic drums: Yamaha 9000 natural wood and Pearl masters. Various snare drums. RME BabyFace Pro FS and Adam A7X monitors

Aww that is disappointing.  I found that my cymbals sound better IMO than the samples in SD3, and adding some of my bass/snare/toms into the mix makes it sound so much more realistic.  I know it isn’t a DAW, but where it the line? – it does let me edit and mix.  It The standalone program gets my audio exactly how I want it, it is just missing an ablility to export the wav of the mix I create in the tracker tab, which seemed like basic functionality.   It is taking something simple and adding a ton more work and steps.

I think I can change my workflow around it, but it seems like SD3 lost a lot of the value I thought I was getting.  I work out of adobe audition, so I need to either learn a supported DAW or export and blend the extra channels in Aduition.

Appreciate the answers even if I don’t like them!

Yes, blending the Tracked drums from SD3 with original Cymbal/HH sounds would be a pretty common strategy but this is done in a DAW, where you have full control over the mixing between them.
Bouncing a WYHIWYG from the Tracker would perhaps be something for the ‘Requests & Feedback’ section?
