I have used EZmix (2 and 3) for a while now, sometimes for writing music, but really mostly to just practice at home (via a 4th gen Focusrite interface). More recently, as soon as I launch Guitar Pro or Edge alongside EZmix, the signal from the guitar becomes extremely noisy, distorted, and totally unplayable. I have been trying to troubleshoot the issue for a while, but so far, nothing has worked (I’ve tried reinstalling drivers, changing sample rate, adjusting buffer size, etc.). I wonder if this problem is due to some recent update, since I didn’t use to have this issue at all? Any help would be very welcome.
A guess. If these two programs are using the same audio driver, maybe their sample rates are different. If you’re jamming along with GP and have an audio interface, let’s EZMix have the interface and choose a different driver for GP.
