So I bought and installed EzDrummer 3, used as VST with Ableton Live 12 (Intro version)
I was exporting/rendering my very first song with this setup (MacOS i7 proc. 16GB RAM, Sequioa 15.1.1)
then, in exported file/wav (also in mp3) I get empty blocks of silence, mostly at the beginning, I retry several times and output is
the same everytime, I tried giving some silence bars at the beginning but result is the same,
in attachment you can see the MIDI clips, and the exported WAV (you can see the big silence), so, for further troubleshooting
I created a brand new project with the ezdrummer 3 track alone and result is the same, I give it few bars to let plugin to load (and I start rendering at 1.1.1, not at 5.1.1) and result is strangely the same every time
freezing the track actually make it work (3rd track in attachment), but is very disruptive and breaks the workflow,
I have a dedicated audio behringer btw(UMC HD with 2 channels)
what is happening here???
Hi,
would it be possible for you to save a copy of this Live Project with only the EZD3 track, zip archive it and attach to a post here?

hello sorry for the late response, please find project as attachment
also, I’m sending another screenshot attached, I tried with different MIDI clips (Versus, Chorus, Bridge)
even from a Country MIDI pack I bought recently and
everytime is doing the same for WAV and MP3 exports (in pairs in screenshot)
I dont think this is a hardware issue, I haven’t changed any config in EzDrummer 3,
please help, issue persists
thanks
alex
not sure If you will get any clue/hint from my project,
issue is present for any random MIDI clip
playthrough is always fine, issue is when exporting
Hi,
now matter how I try, I can’t replicate your experienced behavior; I have tried Export of the whole Main out, the individual EZdrummer track, Bounce in Place but it behaves as expected.
Can you please try updating to version 3.1.2 (which is the version I am using) released today to see if that helps?
BR,
John

hey John, thanks for checking!
sure will try later today and post back here
so I re-tested with same results, steps I did:
opened PM alone (without ableton running, fresh Mac start)
downloaded and updated core EzDrummer software
opened Ableton and added a single midi track for ez-drummer
tested with Nashville EZX and also Blues EZX, same results for both
please see attachments
Im opened to more suggestions,
even a phone or video call to troubleshoot
thanks!
