How do I cut and paste midi data from my DAW (cubase 13) into ezdrummer?

  I want to cut and paste a midi track from cubase, and paste it into ezdrummer,  so that I can save it as a midi file, edit it etc.

  I have not found a way to do this. I cannot drag drop because whenever I open file explorer easy drummer closes.

  I’ve tried using options, add linked folder. But the files that I want to access don’t appear (I exported them from cubase and they saved as vlc

  I tried going to track, import midi file.  Nope that didn’t work either.

  what’s the secret to achieving this seemingly simple objective?
