Is EZbass activated in the Studio One View > Plug-in Manager? (activate it by clicking the dot next to EZbass in that list if the dot is greyed out/dark).

Also, please make sure that the .vst3 plug-in is located in C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3

Thank you, Petter. It was switched off in Plugin Manager.

I switched EZB and EZD on in Plugin Manager. They are still greyed, every time I start Studio One. Both are in the folder you said. They are not in the manager block list. EZK and SD load right. Reinstalling EZB didn’t help.

Presonus helped me fix it. Plugin Manager was thinking that EZD and EZB were duplicates. I unchecked ‘Hide duplicates on startup’.

Thanks for sharing, I have never seen that on my system(s) but then I am (mainly) on macOS, good to know it can happen on Windows.

Studio One Ver 7.2, Windows 10, EZBASS Will not show in browser Instruments section Nested under Toonracks.

My solution (Weird) I went to SI View dropdown and clicked on HIDE ALL DUPLICATES then closed and quit and restarted S1. I checked the S1 locations Toontracks directory and now EZD3 was also gone with EZ Keys remaining. (Panic I spent hours on that install) I then went back to view\plugin manager and clicked on EZ Drumer and it Activated with a lighted dot on left side. I did the same with EZ Bass and the dot activated there also. I closed the plugin manager and went to browser locations tab and I now have all three products nested under the Toontrack folder.  SUCCESS.

Though I love EZ DRUMMER, I’ve never felt so lost as every time I buy a toontrack product. I’ve just bought EZ BASS, and it just DOESN’T WORK! EVERY OTHER PLUGIN I BUY ALWAYS WORKS IMMEDIATELY AFTER DOWNLOAD! I’ve been sitting for 3 hours, and the things it demands from me is insane! I just bought it yesterday, and what version this is, which toontrack wants me to fill in as a detail below, is also something I can’t find. I’m not great with computers, but I have 814 plugins that I was able to get working in Studio one, so what is this!!! Although I’ve downloaded everything, EZ BASS doesn’t accept any path I give it. As if it doesn’t recognize the files, although I’m pretty sure the files are at that path. But again, I’m really not great with computers, so it’s definitely me, but that doesn’t change the fact, that it’s the only plugin company that creates trouble for me, and eats away hours of my day to try and make it work. I can’t even seem to find out how to make an independent question in here, so I’m just replying to this original post.

There’s no need to authorise EZD on the website. Did you install EZD within Product Manager?

Did you install to the default folder?

I had the same problem with Studio One and EZbass. Check the filepaths in the Studio One menu – > Options – > Locations – > VST Plug-ins.

If that checks out, go to the View menu in Studio One then Plug-in Manager and uncheck Hide duplicates on startup. If it’s already unchecked, go back to Options – > Locations – > VST Plug-ins and hit Reset Blocklist.

    Hi.

Thanks for taking the time to reply. I finally made Studio one 7 find EZ bass, after I checked it in instruments in Studio one. So it’s working fine, though I still can’t make Ez bass find the midi files. And before I was able to make Studio one find EZ bass, I got a message when opening the standalone that the midi files were damaged, so I guess I have to spend some more time on it. But I actually never use midi files like those, so it’s good enough for now, but of course it would be nice if everything is running as it should, and I don’t know if there’s anything else in those missing midi files that I could make good use of.

Try Settings – > Restore MIDI Database

Thanks again. But the “Restore midi settings” sign is greyed out so that I can´t press it.

Did you install EZB from within Product Manager?
