Topic: 2 issues. Bass drum simultaneous cymbal trigger issue. Set pan for cymbals

Here is my info and list of issues I was hoping someone could shed light on.

Background info:

Software: I have the latest version SD3 and upgraded from SD2 just two months ago and use MacOS Monterey.
- I have set to use the preset for the Alesis DM10 within the Midi-In, E-drums in SD3.
Kit: Alesis Nitro Pro XL e-drum kit.
- NOTE: I decided to switch back to my old Alesis DM1o brain since the ride isn’t 3 zone on the Nitro and there was limited add on option. I was aware with this and figured I’d give it a shot. I upgraded only because my old Alesis kit only had 1 working drum left.

With that said, here is what I am experiencing (same happened with the Nitro Brain as well):

Issue One: When I hit the crash cymbals and the bass drum at the exact same time like you would normally do, the cymbal makes no sound but the bass does. I have to oh so slightly hit them a millisecond apart to hear both. The same happens when I hit two crashes at the same time with the bass drum. I’ve looked at settings but can’t figure out what is going on. Any ideas?
1. I also just noticed yesterday that sometimes the same happens when I hit the bass and the high hats as well. It’s not often but it happens.
Issue Two: When I choose the cymbal sounds I want to use, how can I pan them properly? For example, the 18in crash I usually have to the right and the 16in crash to the left and the splash in the middle. Problem I have is the 18 and the 16 play out of the right side and the splash plays out of the left. From what I see, the OH mics pick those up and I have no idea how to pan them properly. Any idea what I am doing wrong and what I’m missing here?

I don’t have the issue with my ride cymbal not simultaneously triggering at the same time as the bass drum though. How can I fix the multi trigger issue with the bass and how can I pan my cymbals properly?

I’m simply lost. I’ve gone and hit the learn button on pretty much everything. Oh, this also happens with the default kits when I switch between them. To be fair, I didn’t normally have to use any custom sets with SD2 and just used the ones included but it’s not the same with 3.

I appreciate any help anyone can provide. Let me know what other info you need or if you need screen shots.
