Have you tried rescanning your user presets? It’s under the user presets dropdown.

    Hi,

are we talking about ‘Drums & Mixer’ Presets?
Did you open the folder where they are supposed to reside from within SD3?
You do know that User presets for SDX:s need to be in the specific User preset folder for the parent SDX they were created with? I.e. if I create a User preset with the Hansa Marble Room as “parent” (or base, if you will) it will not show if the currently loaded SDX is the SD3 Core Library. Or, if such a User preset is put in the wrong parent folder, I imagine it wouldn’t always load correctly.

    BR,
    John

Thank you both for the help, and sorry for the slow reply but I have found a solution!

Just to confirm, I was talking about user presets and I had tried rescanning (as well as making sure my library paths were correct) but no luck.

All the files are just in a folder within Documents, that’s synced to iCloud. That’s how I used to have it setup on my old machine without problem, so that’s how I have it setup now.

Anyway, the solution was as simple as opening my folder of presets in Finder, and then opening each one in turn in the stand-alone SD3 player. Once a file had been opened in the SD3 player, it would then load correctly in Logic. I just needed to loop through all 30 or so of my presets and open each one in turn, and that’s it, problem now solved.

I’m not sure why this worked. Maybe it’s because I was previously using a much older version of Mac OS, and it was on different hardware (intel vs M4), and my SD3 install wasn’t up to date on my old machine either, so perhaps opening the files slightly modified them to correct any incompatibilites. In any case, problem solved.

    Thanks again for the suggestions!
