I have been using EZ for a very long time. I recently upgraded PC to windows 11 and have been using it and Studio One for over 15 Years. In any case I cannot get EZ drummer 3 or Bass to Load into Studio One after install. I have all the files and VST locations selected as per the website. The thing that bothers me is that I have neural DSP products and other brands in the exact same VST3 file and they all work. I am trying to figure out what changed. I did send a support ticket with screen shots of file locations etc. It actually reads the EZ Bass on scan but it does not show up in within the DAW. Any help would be appreciated.
i have ezdrummer 3 and ezkeys 2 and neither show up in studio one so if there is a workaround i would appreciate it
So I decided to try something and downloaded EZ drummer 2 . Works perfect, I “think” this is a VST2 product so maybe that is why it works. In any case this is a file assignment issue I believe and I have multiple different products that work fine under the VST3 file section. Surely someone has had this issue also.
Would EZD3 list under Instruments and not Effects?

ezkeys2 lists as instrument but ezdrummer 3 not showing
Yes also my question? In my previous version of studio one 6 it was under instruments. If I screen shot it now EZ drummer 2 shows up under “Instruments” which is where EZ drummer 3 and bass were until going to windows 11 and studio one 7 . As I said I did not change any location files. If you attempt to use the C: files recommended but put them under the instrument section= still nothing.
Not a Studio One user so I can’t give any real world advice. I’m on a Windows 11 machine with Cubase 14 Pro and my Toontrack instruments are in C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3 and show in Cubase.
I guess the first troubleshootings would be:
Has Toontrack support gotten back to you so I’m not duplicating their efforts?

In addition to Scott’s suggestions, have gone into: view > plug-in manager to see if they have been blocked or the vendor deactivated for some reason?

I appreciate the response, and I understand my screenshots won’t help -lol, but wanted people to see what I see. I have not heard anything from support but granted I put the ticket in on a Sunday, so not expecting much today… I tried to attach a photo file which shows the location which should be correct? All other programs in that VST3 folder work properly. There is also another file location Toontracks recommends, that is at the bottom of the second screen shot ? Been awhile since I have had to set all this up again so I definitely could be missing something but like I said everything else works.. Also all my IK multimedia products worked correctly. Yes I have reinstalled, restarted, blacklist reset- you name it. I question that the EZ drummer (being an instrument) should be in the same VST3 folder as Neural DSP which is an effect.

Sorry if you have already replied to any of my questions (just running on my 1st espresso this morning). Using windows explorer, have you insured that the plug-ins are actually installed in the VST3 folder?
In the the Studio One Browser, have you tried changing the view to”Vendor”, do they show up there?

I guess for sake of thoroughness I’d like to see the pic of the Instrument tab instead of the Effects tab you posted above with ‘Toontrack’ selected.

Solved ! Tech support did get back and was right on-greatly appreciated!. It seems it is a Studio One issue, I had to navigate to the home icon within a song/this will show a list at the bottom-select program manager/this allows a menu – select show all/ then update plugins… Issue is now I have to do this every time, seems to reset for just the 2 products. Hey Brad within this plugin manager I do not see any way to block or unblock anything so it will not reset, hard to explain without looking at the plug in manager but that is fine for now. I will contact Presonus and dig into that -happy to have my drums and bass back. Hey thanks again for the help!

Yes so unfortunately EZ Drummer 3 and EZ Bass are grayed out in the Plug-In area. You select “Show All” then Update Plug in List, once that is done it will show both products. No items have ever been listed in blocklist and resetting seems to have no effect. Unfortunately every time S1 is restarted you have to do this. I am guessing there is some reason the files are being blocked but I’ll have to get help on that. I see no way to change that in the plug in manager.
