when I click my sticks together it triggers all pads quietly like crosstalk
I get this as well when I click my sticks hard above my snare drum. But I am ok with this since I want a low threshold on my snare to pickup even quiet nuances and ghost notes that I play. You can either raise the threshold giving up the quieter notes, or click sticks further away from the snare, or use a different way to count in a song, if that’s why you are clicking. I just had two shows where I used a mic to talk to only to the band – the audience couldn’t hear me – and it works great since you can queue things in the middle of a song with an odd count, remind people of the song ending, etc…
DWe six piece kit, Roland BT-1s/eDRUMin, RME Fireface interface, JH Audio IEMs w/Fiio Amp, Porter & Davies transducer, Razer 16 laptop, SD3 (State of the Art, Stockholm, Hitmaker, Legacy of Rock, Decades, Death & Darkness, Fields of Rock, Stories)
It’s all in the module and not sd3. That only plays what is being sent to it. What module are you using?
SD3 with older sdx,s plus Rooms of Hansa and Death & Darkness. Cubase and wavelab current versions. Roland TD50x using all trigger inputs for triggering SD3 only. Windows 11 computer. Various keyboards and outboard gear as well as VST instruments. Acoustic drums: Yamaha 9000 natural wood and Pearl masters. Various snare drums. RME BabyFace Pro FS and Adam A7X monitors
It’s not a big issue for me , I don’t think the band notices it , maybe I play with the cross talk settings , thanks for your input
