There are several kits in the stock library that have the word ‘tape’ in them. Which one? Any reason you’re not on the latest revision of SD3?

I was about to ask the same thing. I don’t see anything that specifically says “Tape Kit”, so please provide some more details.

Sorry. I’m on the Warm Ayotte Kit. I just updated to 3.4 and still same issue.

In the mixer, try pushing the fader labelled “Ambience” up and see if you hear them better. And as Jack eluded to ever so gently :), make sure you’re on the latest version.

Even as is, I’m hearing cymbals without issue. Have you changed any routings within your mixer?

Yep Ambient fader was off. Not sure how that happened and tbh I’ve never even used the mixer for my purposes. Now I know! Thanks a lot for the help.

Actually, I believe that preset has the Ambient fader pulled all the way off by default. Glad it’s sorted out.
