I find a groove I like, grab it and drop it into a track. I play back the track and the groove is different. It does this on any groove I choose from the list in EZdrummer. What is going on here?
The result of dragging a midi clip (groove) into the midi track are misplaced hits. It has to be something in ableton 12. I’m thinking some kind of auto repitch function that will take a midi note not matching a predetermined scale and move it to match the scale. Problem is I do not see this setting anywhere in the program. But that is just a guess.

Perhaps an e-drum preset is active? In Settings > E-Drum/MIDI In, does it say anything else than “Toontrack Standard” (without an asterisk) on the Preset menu?
