My E kit has 3 snares. The first one is setup and working with positional sensing using CC 16 which is working pretty darn good. However, in my thread on Audiofront, Rob indicated I should use the note option for the additional snares and map the edge or off center note. Problem with this, is it limits you to two sounds, the center and whichever articulation you select. Though better than nothing, I would really like to find a way to use a separate CC value to make the full PS work with the other 2 snares. Rob does not seem to know how to set that up as it involves setting up in SD3. He said it might be a hassel. Does anyone have this working that can share how to configure this to work for the other 2 snares using the alt CC values instead of just one note which is kinda lame?
As it stands, I have my work cut out for me and want to make sure I get the best possible outcome. Wish SD3 had an easier way to set a universal midi mapping for all snares tied to a specific midi note and the articulations. Right now, I would have to go one preset at a time and basically add 5 notes per snare for the two additional snares to capture all articulations per project/preset.
