Hello,
I have the entire 260+ GB library downloaded but I get an error message whenever I try to use SD in Logic. Please see attached photo — “Could not find any sound libraries. Please insert hard drive(s) or run available sound library installers. You can also manually add libraries from the settings page.” Then there’s a link to open settings.
On the Settings screen under Installation there’s another error message “Invalid library. Please change or remove your path.” The disk type is set to SSD. I have the library downloaded to an external drive. Last night I downloaded it all directly onto my Mac Studio’s hard drive hoping that would work but nothing has changed. I set it to HDD to check that possibility but it didn’t work either.
I am not really adept at this kind of thing but I did work with SD3 on Pro Tools for several years without any problems.
I would appreciate any advice you have. I know that Logic has a great drum program but I need SD3 to work too.
Thanks very much. — Pete MacDonald 206-799-3906
Did you run the installer via the product manager after downloading them? Superior Drummer won’t see the libraries until they have been installed.
