Latency when running through Wave Link software

  I am running on a M4 Mac Mini and was hoping to use Elgato’s Wave Link software with my Stream Deck+ to be able to control volume during any streams.

  I created a channel to run EZDrummer through and get horrible latency. No effects are on the channel and if I run EZDrummer sound directly there is no latency.

  Same goes for Amplitude, Ableton, etc if I create channels to be able to adjust their volumes.

  What is the solution for this???
