Look in the help menu for note assignment

The search bar at the top searches the site and the forums. When you select “View All Results” you will get to an advanced search page.

Shootie school has plenty of videos on YouTube to get you going with EZ Drummer.

Easiest way to get going it to go the grooves tab and drag some grooves to your track. There’s your song.

With “note assignments” are you referring to MIDI notes or articulations?

    Hello Jordan

    Thanks for your answer.

I was a drummer so I am able to write my own drum tracks

So I need the note assignment for each drum in EZD3

Also I have a few drum plug-ins that I need to map.

My Idea is to have an instrument per track so I can move any drum partition so it will fit with the kit used

It would be in the help menu as Mick stated.

Your methodology doesn’t make sense to me and it sounds like you’re doing things in a rather 1990s fashion especially when certain tools such as the grid editor in EZ Drummer 3 better facilitate rapid drum programming

    Hello

Thanks for your help, I got the instrument mapping in the Help menu under Midi Layout.

Did anybody made the Map Instrument for Logic and is wishing to share it ?

    Thanks again

If you are referring to the session players in logic Pro 11, I have posted a set of maps for EZ Drummer 3 to this forum. You should be able to find them using the search bar.

    Hi Jordan

I use the Piano Roll or the Session Drum player  when I create a new drum track. The Session Player in Logic look to be more powerful the what you can do in EZD3 as it read the pattern in the song and you have many different parameter

When I want to re-use a drum track made for another drum, it is a bit more complex, As I can read drum partitions I look at the drum track in the score menu to figure out the instrument note and to a move to the instrument for EZD3 using Logic Piano Roll or I extract midi notes to separate tracks.
