I have a bunch of older songs that used SD2. I thought SD3 would pull up the same presets but it didn’t. Can I install SD2 without the samples since I have SD3 and will it pull up the presets I used? Thank you
you can install the Superior Drummer 2 software separately, the 2.4.4 installer should be available in your account.
If the sounds used in the old songs are still present on your system and linked to the version 2 instrument, they should load as expected.
The above works. I have sd2 installed for the very same reason.
SD3 with older sdx,s plus Rooms of Hansa and Death & Darkness. Cubase and wavelab current versions. Roland TD50x using all trigger inputs for triggering SD3 only. Windows 11 computer. Various keyboards and outboard gear as well as VST instruments. Acoustic drums: Yamaha 9000 natural wood and Pearl masters. Various snare drums. RME BabyFace Pro FS and Adam A7X monitors
