I would love to see a percussion library like you’re talking about. There’s at least one from a competitor to Toontrack but I don’t feel right actually mentioning their name. Literally they even included the kitchen sink as a percussion instrument sample.

Stories and Fields of Rock SDXs have percussion. Probably some more.

Six piece DWe, Roland BT-1s/eDRUMin, SD3 (State of the Art, Stockholm, Hitmaker, Legacy of Rock, Decades, Death & Darkness, Fields of Rock, Stories), RME Fireface, JH Audio IEMs w/Fiio Amplifier, Porter & Davies, Razer 16 laptop

Thanks but I think the OP (and I) would like to have a strictly percussion library ala the Orchestral Percussion library.

Agreed. Given the right sample library, this would also open up a line of midi pack offerings. I know I mentioned rock in the OP, but complimentary percussion is pretty ubiquitous in so many genres – pop, dance (with non-electronic percs), a wide range of rock, jazz, folk, indie, etc. – which would open up the midi pack offerings in a sensible way for Toontrack to make available. I think there’s a market for this. I know I’d buy it.

I love Orchestral Percussion SDX and agree with all that a MIDI library would be fantastic. It is such a good SDX to not have a complementary MIDI library. I have all the Toontrack percussion options for MIDI (Latin, Latin/Cuban etc) but still not enough. PLEASE Toontrack can we have a MIDI library.  I have also posted in requests and feedback so maybe we should all add support to this ?

    Hi Toontrack Development Team,

There have been a number of threads requesting more MIDI for Orchestral Percussion but I don’t think these have made their way to this “requests and Feedback” section. A couple of links below.

Can you please consider looking at this as this is such a wonderful sound library yet the amount of MIDI files/grooves is very low in comparison to other SDX’s. Thanks, Andrew
