Settings>Keyboard Shortcuts. If it’s there you can customize it.

Most editors prefer that after you hit stop, it goes back to the position you originally hit play from because most people are working on a section of a song and want to repeat it at will. This is all assuming I understand what you’re saying.

If you want pause instead, it is available though I never tested it myself.

Thanks, I’ve a follow up question!

I have a sequence of blocks in the Song Tool at the bottom of SD3. I find that when I hit spacebar, it reverts to playing the start of the very first block, even if I have played from the start of the third block the last time (by dragging the timeline and clicking option + spacebar).

I understand that spacebar can be useful to re-audition a block. How do I get it to replay from a position that isn’t at the very start of the Song e.g. start of the fourth block? I’ve tried dragging the timeline thing – it doesn’t set where spacebar plays from.

Ah I’ve just figured out, it’s defined by where the stop/start guide is put in the DAW as SD3 is set to follow host. Of course *face palm*!!
