This is probably a Cubase problem but i`ll post here to see if anybody can help. I have already asked for help on the Steinberg/cubase forums.
I have just decided to move from my old windows pc to mac mini m4. MacOS Sequoia 15.1.1.
Reinstalled Cubase and most of my plugins and vst instruments. Same version of Cubase (13) and same versions of plugins/vsts.
I also copied all Cubase projects over to the new mac. This is where the problems occur.
When opening up a saved project on the new mac i get a warning that some plugins can´t be found, including EZdrummer 3.
I don´t understand why Cubase can not find plugins like the EZDrummer 3 (and Nexus) in a saved project. When opening the project after the warnings the tracks have all the information like audio, midi and all other settings, but can not find Nexus and EZDrummer 3 even though they are installed. I can just open up EZdrummer 3 and put that on the track, but i then have to do that for hundreds of projects instead of just loading the project as it was on my windows pc.
Has anybody experienced anything like this?
Hi there,
Unfortunately, unless something has changed, I think this is a known issue detailed in the included thread, with noted workaround.
I believe you will need to save your EZDrummer 3 settings as project files on Windows and open them in the Mac sessions after inserting EZD3 as a plug-in.
