I downloaded Decades and the folder says “Add to Database”. When i click that it appears something begins to download but it still shows the folder in orange and a question mark on the folder. The Decades drum kit is there and works, the Decades presets are there and work, just no midi samples in the folder.
Hi,
can you please try: go to SD3 Settings > Advanced and click ‘Restore MIDI Database’.

John

Hi John,
Thanks for helping. I tried that and no luck. What I notice that is different since I downloaded Decades last night is that when SD3 is opening now, it stops and shows this menu of activities that it is doing with bullet points and check marks, like a computer looks during start up, but it says something about “downloading midi” last on the list of about 4 things it is doing. I never saw that before when it opened. I rebooted my computer but it still does this. This happened once before with the Orcestral download but i don’t remember how i got the midi to load up eventually.
I tired again and now all of the folders for all of the midi packs have an orange folder and a question mark on them, none of them show the midi samples now. I wonder if its something with my computer. This is frustrating. I am clicking on ‘add data” and it looks like something is downloanding but not showing. same with “Show web shop midi”.
Okay, it is back, i had to restart my computer a third time but it is all back including the new Decades. Thank you J0hn for helping out.
