When I drag and drop a groove from EZDrummer 3 into Ableton Live 12, it automatically changes the BPM that I have set in Live. I have never had this issue in the past. As I upgraded both programs at the same time, so I’m not sure which program is causing the issue. Does anyone have any idea how to resolve this? I will be eternally in your debt.
Hi,
you have most likely clicked ‘Don’t show again’ when the ‘Import tempo and time signature data into Arrangement dialog has showed up on a MIDI drag-and-drop.
Visit the Ableton Live Settings > Display & Input > Application Options > “Don’t Show Again” Warnings > Restore

Thanked by: Scott EshlemanThank you! That fixed it! Is there a way so that it defaults to the BPM/Time signature of the DAW?
Well, just click ‘No’ and check ‘Don’t show again’.

When you’ve made a project and want to add drums to it, in what living stupid world would you ever want the drummer to change the tempo?!!!! This should be off by default.
