When installing Groove Monkee drum ‘Mega Pack Toontrack’ folder into EZDrummer 3 using the linked folder method, can I place it in the ‘User Midi Folder’ ? It seems that I can place it anywhere on my computer with the caveat that I should not move it or I will need to re install the folder. I just want to make sure that I can put it in the ‘User MIDI’ folder which makes sense to me.
Thank You,
Robin Snyder
Hello Shootie,
Fast response! I have been checking out you videos since I bought EZDrummer 3 a few weeks ago. Very informative. In regards to your response. My main question is can I safely locate the Groove Monkee ‘Mega’ folder in Toontrack’s ‘User MIDI’ folder before I link it. That is the folder that is mentioned in the other Groove Monkee installation methods as the folder that Toontrack seems to prefer.
Thank you!

Yes. You can link to anywhere.
My preference i believe is in the video. I think 3rd party midi is different then user midi, so I segregate it. Just my preference though.
