My ezkeys can’t except midi anymore (my midi keyboard via usb) after upgrading my Mac to sonoma. In my daw it doesn’t even show up.
I’ve heard this thing about “vst2” and “ vst3”, ezkeys being vst2 that doesn’t work anymore in newer systems.
many help? If the plugin doesn’t work anymore Toontrack should upgrade it and offer it for free to users. I’ve bought a lot of libraries of sounds that are now useless. Anyone had this issue?
What DAW are you running?
Newer versions of Cubase do not support VST2 on Apple Silicon Macs. You would need to run Cubase in Rosetta 2 mode in order to use VST2 plug-ins. (Right-click the Cubase.app in the Finder – Applications > Get Info > Open using Rosetta).

Thanked by: Scott EshlemanYes I’m using cubase 13. So this must be the issue. Is Rosetta a standalone plugin? Where to download?
Hi,
Rickard gave you the instructions above. It is not a plug-in, you have to start Cubase in Rosetta mode.
Right-click the Cubase.app in the Finder – Applications > Get Info > Open using Rosetta

EZkeys 2 has VST3. If it’s possible for you to upgrade, you won’t need to start Cubase in Rosetta mode.
