    What DAW are you running?

Newer versions of Cubase do not support VST2 on Apple Silicon Macs. You would need to run Cubase in Rosetta 2 mode in order to use VST2 plug-ins. (Right-click the Cubase.app in the Finder – Applications > Get Info > Open using Rosetta).

Yes I’m using cubase 13. So this must be the issue. Is Rosetta a standalone plugin? Where to download?

    Hi,

Rickard gave you the instructions above. It is not a plug-in, you have to start Cubase in Rosetta mode.

Right-click the Cubase.app in the Finder – Applications > Get Info > Open using Rosetta

EZkeys 2 has VST3.  If it’s possible for you to upgrade, you won’t need to start Cubase in Rosetta mode.
