Hi All,
i was hoping to get some guidance on what available EZX would be ideal for generating that 00-10’s drum sound in the vein of Kesha, Leah Kate, so i guess its a gritty dance pop type sound.
I have a project coming up where the client specifically wants to use that drum sound on thier songs.
I’ve gone through the available expansions listening to all the samples and i think I’ve narrowed it down to either the Dream pop one or the Synthwave one or perhaps a blend of the 2?
has any one got an advise or suggestions on what EZX expansion would work best for the above? If this is the wrong place to post something like this please move it.
Thanks!
I did but they couldn’t really pick one without it being in the context of one of their songs and the demo they provided was a simple 808 which they said they hated.
I know the kind. I’ve listen to three Kesha songs this morning, and each has its own drum sounds. I’d bet that the same would be true of Leah and Kate. Which song does he want to be like?
they are looking at the earlier stuff, so the Animal/cannibal/Warrior era of her music

Even those three have their own sounds.
true, that being said it looks like the conclusion being drawn here is that not one EZX will do the job and i’ll need 2-3 to do it, have any recommendations?
My thoughts? Buy Synthwave to start with. Put every kit on their songs, one at a time, until they hear what they’re looking for. If none of the kits is right, buy Dream Pop. I have the latter.
beautiful, thanks for the recommendation. This was exactly why i posted here, thanks!
