Before you drag it to the song track, there is a No Transpose option at the bottom of the Key Menu. That menu will only affect new midi blocks coming in.
if you are in the Grid Editor and have selected all notes in a block, you can Alt/Option+Up/Down Arrow key to Transpose them in semitone steps, add the Shift key to Transpose in octaves.
Thank you John that worked. I’ve also worked out that if you select the midi part only in the arrange window that selects all the notes in the block and you can transpose.
