Hi folks,

Newbie here to Ez drummer 3. One of my favourite drummers is Dennis Chambers and I was hoping to get some pointers as to which expansion kit might give me the best opportunity to get close to his ‘general’ overall kit sound? I think he uses a maple Pearl kit.

Which album do you want to sound like? You would need to find the same kit recorded in the same room with the same desk settings, mixed with same instruments, the same settings and mastered the same. The following link has all of the EZD expansions, which can be previewed. The jazz and funk EZXs might be what you want.

Thanks. I was referencing more his live kit sound from a variety of Drumeo videos and you tube demonstrations he has featured on. I could probably try to tune some of my existing kits to emulate a similar effect though. Thanks, I’ll check out the Jazz and Funk EZX packs, Best wishes.
