I’ve imported 3rd party midi files, which got added to the database, then later I deleted some of those midi files. They still display in the groove browser with the ‘missing groove’ triangle.
I remember EZD2 had some tools to add/remove certain folders/files from your database for maintenance, but they seem to be gone?
The only tool I can find is settings > advanced > restore midi database > are you sure you want to restore the factory midi database?
Is this really the only way to maintain the database now? I seem to remember to be able to choose which user folders were added to the database, and to remove errant entries manually?
Also is this prompt badly worded? I want to synchronise 3rd party imported midi files, not the factory midi.
Thanks.

Hi,
if you added the files in a regular fashion, there should be a small drop-down arrow>menu with the ‘Sync File Changes’ entry.

How did you delete the file? If you deleted the file within EZ Drummer, the database should be updated.

Thanks for your reply. Where should I see this drop-down?

I think I cleaned up the folders in Windows, and assumed that EZD3 would sync the files and database, or at least I’d be able to remove errant entries manually. I guess I don’t quite understand why I can’t select a whole bunch of missing files in the grooves screen, and select ‘remove from database’.
