So have you downloaded all the installs? Why? Just delete from the download manager if you don’t want to install thrm.

SD3 with older sdx,s plus Rooms of Hansa and Death & Darkness. Cubase and wavelab current versions. Roland TD50x using all trigger inputs for triggering SD3 only. Windows 11 computer. Various keyboards and outboard gear as well as VST instruments. Acoustic drums: Yamaha 9000 natural wood and Pearl masters. Various snare drums. RME BabyFace Pro FS and Adam A7X monitors

I’m downloading Area 33 right now and it is downloading 185 gb. When I press install and choose “Minimal Mic Setup” which is 37.57 gb, does it delete the rest that it just downloaded? I can’t choose how much to install until after it has downloaded everything.

Once you install you can click on clean up and it should then delete downloads. Try it and then go to the download location and see if it’s gone.

I think he’s talking about doing a minimal install and not necessarily doing the cleanup like you mention. I know that with SD3 you only have to download/install the modules you want.

Hi,

the Area 33 SDX installer is not divided into sections, so yes; you download the full installer package, install the Minimal, then ‘Clean Up’ in the Product Manager afterwards.
This way you do not have any “unused” files left, with the caveat that if you wish to modify the Install of the SDX in question, you need to download the installer package again.
