It’s often overlooked. The Top Search Bar for the site is also for the forum.
That’s something that should be made more clear to people. I know when I see something like that I too think it’s just for searching for product and not the forum. Most forum s/w has it’s own search function. Is there any way of getting in touch with the people who would administer such things around here and ask them to take care of this?

There is a customer service forum on the main forum directory.
Customer service doesn’t always translate to forum upkeep/administration. Those are two separate functions in most companies.
