I purchased EZ Drummer 3 two days ago and everything seemed to be fine.
I’m having problems using (no matter if from Cubase 10, Logic Pro X: same problem) ezdrummer 3 with an external midi keyboard (I have three and it doesn’t depend on the keyboard itself).
I had already noticed that some cymbals in the set are stopped.
I am referring to the “normal” cymbals that until recently worked normally.
Now I realize that when I trig a cymbal, if I press a little harder on the keyboard key, it stops, as if it emulates the drummer’s hand which stops the sound of the cymbal.
In practice, aftertouch controls the sustain of the cymbal (!bad idea).
If at first glance it may seem like a good idea to some, to me it seems like an unintelligent idea: men when I’m playing a drum piece with the keyboard I don’t want to have to pay attention to how hard I press the cymbal key.
I hope this is an option that can be deactivated
