I am unable to modify chords or replace a verse within EzKeys2 after splicing various verses., choruses etc from the AOR midi pack and saving that as a midi song. Once I’ve made my Frankenstein from the AOR song pieces, I can’t change it within the EzKeys2 framework.
It seems I must use the midi “as is”, which makes me wonder if I’d be on the hook for royalties if I made a hit single.
Of course I can change things within Logic Pro’s midi editor. Is that legal though? Am I off the royalties hook?
I’ve been using the AOR pack lately. I don’t have any issue changing chords. Are you accessing them through the chord blocks or grid editor?

Chord Blocks, not the Grid Editor, which has a tab at the top.
I was able to drag a “verse” and place it on top of the verse I wanted to replace, and it worked. I didn’t think it would because all the parts are in the Selected state.
Any idea why all the various choruses, verses, intros remain in the Selected state? I can’t unselect any part of the song in chord block mode. Kindly see attachment.
I don’t seem to have the permissions to edit chords within the 8 bar blocks.

If you cannot unselect your regions by clicking on an empty part of the timeline, then if sounds like you have some sort of issue either with your software or hardware.
