Is it possible to adjust the release of Tom sounds in SD3 to replicate dry tom sounds?
I can not find such an option.

Hi,
there is no actual “physical” dampening function but you can select the Tom(s) and open+enable the Envelope Property Box to adjust the Release and Slope.

I use envelope as per John suggestion but also sometimes use the transient effect as well in the mixer tab to control attack and sustain.

Got it!
