Hello,
I haven’t used Superior Drummer in years. Honestly, I bought SD3 when it came out and have not really used it. Now that I have time to fuss with the software, I’m having trouble connecting it to my computer.
I’m using a MIDIMATE II to connect from the TD3 to my computer. It appears twice in MIDI Device as MIDIMATE II and MIDIIN2 (MIDIMATE II).
In Audio Device I have the following:
Device Type: ASIO
ASIO Device: ASIO4ALL v2
ASIO control: ASIO
Out Channels settings, I’ve tried both HD Output 1 and 2 as well as RODECaster Pro Stereo 1 – (3) and 2 – (4)
MIDI Channel is set to Any
Within ASIO the WDM Device List includes:
Realtek(R) Audio
iPhone A2DP SNK
MSI Sound Tune
RODECaster Pro Stereo
SteelSeries Sonar Virtual Audio Device
NVIDIA High Definition Audio
Logitech StreamCam
Nahimic mirroring device
Logitech StreamCam
iPhone Hands-Free HF Audio
E7 Hands-Free
E7
This computer has an i9 processor. I have found incompatibilities with certain Line6 products. Not sure if that’s the issue here as well?
Can anyone help me with the settings so that I can use SD3?
The onboard audio is the Realtek audio. As far as midi just tick them all in sd3 settings. I would really recommend getting an audio interface with low latency asio drivers. Asio4all works but that and Realtek audio are not great.

Thanked by: Victor RuizOk, so after going on YouTube I figured out that I could just use a preset for the TD3. But now, I can’t hear what I’m playing. I’d like to be able to use my RODECaster Pro as the output so that I can either hear my playing through studio speakers or headphones. Any suggestions?
The RODECaster display actually shows that it is receiving sound from a USB device every time I hit a pad. But I can’t hear anything.
you need to work out asio4all. Choose that in sd3 and then setup the RODECaster in asio4all. I can’t help you with that. I take it the RC doesn’t have its own asio driver?

Thanked by: Victor RuizAll worked out, yes, you’re correct, they do have their own ASIO drivers. Completely forgot till you mentioned it. All good now.
Glad you got it going
