Just purchased SD3 and just want to add drums to some acoustic guitar songs I wrote but cant seem to find the Bandmate feature where I can drop my recordings and get drum patterns like in EZ Drummer 3. I was told that SD3 has all the features that EZDrummer has and additional features of better control over the drum tracks?
I’m a slow learner.. SD seems to be quite complicated. Thanks in advance.

Superior Drummer 3 is older than EZDrummer 3. It does not have Bandmate. I assume it will not have Bandmate until SD4 comes out.
Unfortunately whomever advised you was wrong.

NO Bandmate. I share your disappointment. I feel the least toontrack could do is give us SD3 owners at least a 50% discount on EZ drummer 3 so we could use the bandmate feature and use SD3 drum packs. I wrote to them but …no answer. Does anyone agree with me out there?
Not really. SD3 was around before ezdrummer 3. Sd3 has a huge amount of features that ezdrummer doesn’t have. Always research what you buy and don’t take someone’s word for it. I’m totally happy with sd3 but then again I’d never use bandmate anyway. Can’t possibly see why they could give you anything off when sd3 never had it in the first place. It’s not toontrack who have made the mistake.
